Comedic Actors MALE ONLY

Those cast will perform the role of "Biff" in sea lion and otter shows. Biff is a comedic character who interacts with audience members. In addition, performs a dance inspired pre-show and performs characters within the show.

Requirements:

Prepare a one-minute family-friendly COMIC monologue. Be prepared to perform character improv, read from a provided script and perform a simple dance combination.

Pay Rates: $25 per hr.

Electric Guitarist

Those cast will perform in the Shamu Rocks show, playing 60 second excerpt from the "Eruption" electric rock guitar solo by Eddie Van Halen.

Requirements:

Must be familiar with classic rock era and capable of executing a highly technical solo
Strong performance skills are required: capable of captivating and holding the attention of 5500 seat stadium
Must be willing to learn show choreography
Come to the audition prepared to play a one-minute solo. "Eruption" preferred. Musician must bring their own electric guitar and amplifier
Age range portrayed: 18-35 years

Pay rate: $25 per hr.

Sesame Street Costume Characters

Those cast will perform in a branded character costume and will also provide guest service as a character escort.

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age and height range 4'11"-6'3"
Must be able to wear a full body costume (costume will cover head and face)
Background in jazz dance, hip hop dance or musical theater preferred. Be prepared to learn a dance combination

Pay rate: varies by position.
